How do I register for classes?

How are dancers placed into classes?
Registration methods depend on the class.
Open enrollment classes may be registered for directly through the Studio Portal and include:

Intermediate and advanced classes require a placement class to ensure dancers are enrolled in the level that best supports their safety and growth. To begin the placement process, complete the Join the Studio form found in the Dancer Hub.
Yes! New dancers are welcome to experience a class before committing.
For open enrollment classes, we offer a free trial class (subject to availability).
For intermediate and advanced classes, dancers may schedule a placement class. This placement also serves as their trial experience, allowing instructors to determine the most appropriate class level while giving dancers an opportunity to experience our teaching style and studio environment.
Yes. New dancers are welcome to enroll throughout the season as long as space is available. Some performance opportunities may have enrollment deadlines.
Most dancers are placed based on age, experience, and instructor recommendation. Placement classes or auditions ensure dancers are placed where they can grow safely and confidently.

Can I receive a refund for missed classes?
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and is processed automatically through AutoPay.
Yes. All accounts must be enrolled in AutoPay through the Studio Portal.
No. Costume rental fees are billed separately and are due by November 1st unless otherwise communicated.
Tuition is non-refundable. Students with excused absences may be eligible for a make-up class when available.

Please notify the studio as soon as possible. Make-up classes may be available for excused absences, though they cannot be guaranteed.
No. Each class description on our Classes page indicates whether it is a performance class or a technique/drop-in class.
For dancers enrolled in "performance optional" classes, instructors may choose to teach recital choreography as a learning opportunity. While these dancers do not perform on stage, they are encouraged to "shadow" the choreography, allowing them to develop performance quality, musicality, and confidence in a supportive classroom environment.
